Best Workout of the Season

Comments:
Today's workout was over a 3 mile warmup, 6x1200 with 3 minute jogging rest at 3K to 5K pace, and a 1 mile cool down. We did the workout at McDonald Middle School, and there's something about this workout course where I always do well. It had been a while, since I had an absolutely great workout and today was one of those days. Definitely my best of the season thus far.

I started the workout behind BJ, Paolo, and Garrett and with Lucas. I stayed 4-5 seconds behind them for the first 2 reps. For the next 2 reps, I got closer to them and Garrett. On the second to last one, I ran with BJ and Paolo and then I sent it on the last one, when Paolo had to stop use the bathroom (sorry Paolo). I negative split every single rep and was between 3:52 and 3:42 for the entire workout.

I'm super happy with how things went today. I think I can credit getting a good amount of rest in the last few days for my success. I took an unneeded nap before the workout because my class got cancelled today (thanks Karl). I hoping I can translate this to a race later in year, but for now I gotta keep grinding.

Also shoutout to Former President Adam Terwillegar for showing up today. Always good to see the former pres.
