Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran alongside Beal (bumped into him on 41st) for a while--he slowed down significantly and I sped up a bit. Then went through the chevy chase golf course (after sunset; turns out my night vision is good enough!) with some pickups. Quad was not happy at all at the end, so I didn't do striders.
Overall winter break:
Training was goo
Strength was meh
Workouts were meh
Striders were meh
In my defense, quad pain in the second week kind of prevented me from doing quality workouts--all of my long and hard runs were in week 1. I think maybe the cold is messing with my quad, but I cold be overthinking it. Don't regret not doing striders, though--they would have done more harm than good. Don't know if I've gotten stronger, but I'm still in good shape.
