I've been gone for quite some time. After wedding SZN and after intense coldness and a never-ending blizzard in South West Michigan, I lost all motivation to run. I had a plan to hit some high mileage this winter and well.... I did for the first week. So not gonna lie, I have not felt motivated to run in a while..... but I finally came back today.

After returning to EL, I ran 9 miles on the treadmill. I started off at 6:49 pace, but was running 5:50s for the last 2 or 3 miles. In the last minute and a half, I ran 4:52 pace. I increased the pace, because my demotivation was fighting me to stop. But I didn't stop and went faster. My legs were definitely dead after this run, but it was good to be back.

Hopefully, I'm on the comeback train now. Hopefully.
