2 swims a week is not enough

Fookin hell. I have been back in the pool for like 3 weeks now, but I don't feel like I have made much progress. Swimming just twice a week is not enough. I would like to swim on Friday and Sunday too, but those are usually after nights out drinking and swimming hungover is way harder than running hungover. But I mean this slow progress in getting my swimming fitness back isn't really that big a deal 'cause I won't be racing in triathlons until like June or July anyway. So I got lots of time. It's just that - like any other sport - swimming is a LOT more fun when you are in shape and can go fast with ease.

So I just got in the water today to get the yards. Took lots of breaks/rest and didn't go fast. This is what I did:
