Holding on for the Ride

Today I ran a 10 minute warmup, 6x200 and 6x300 at mile pace, and a 2 mile cool down. Not gonna lie, this workout was tough. During the warmup, my ankle was bothering me a little bit, but I tried to shake it off. Then during the workout, my left shin was bothering me a lot. I was able to hold onto to Paolo on the 200s, but he did manage to drop me a little bit on the 300s. Luckily, my splits were still pretty decent, but definitely one of the rougher workouts of the year so far. On the last lap, everybody decided to try and send it, while I just hung on and ran a 50 second 300 lol.

Oh well besides, nothing too interesting. Purgatory Mike came back to practice, so I got to talk him for a bit. He's a cool dude, so that was good. JB tried to challenge me to diamond pushups, but couldn't even do one himself smh. I'm running a 3K on Friday, so hopefully my body can recover by then. I've got my goals down, so now I just have to execute.
