Hillsdale Wide Track Classic 2018

Well I'm not going to go into immense detail about this race, because it honestly went pretty bad. As described in 3K ambitions, I had a goal to either break 9 or at least 9:10. I did not even come close to that, so I'm fairly disappointed.

The first 1000 was on pace at 3:00 minutes flat and I hit the mile at 4:54, but I was simply frozen after that. I officially mentally gave up after I came passed the 2K in 6:08 and I slowed down and didn't even kick to the finish. I could blame the race on a lot of things, but overall it was just a bad day and I'll comeback from it. The rule is that you have 24 hours to be disappointed about your race. So I'll officially move on at 8:35pm and then proceed to get fucked up at a Gunson Party.

On the brightside, it was another interesting adventure with Wild Wes. I told him to play the most metal song that he had. So we proceeded to listen to 50 minutes or so of Wes's music and it was quite a surreal experience. We also ate at a late night dinner and Wes smashed probably the 2nd or 3rd largest stack of pancakes I've ever seen so. So definitely 10/10 RVP and Wild Wes adventure, just a trash ass race time.
