Wow, I was not expecting today's swim to be any good. When I went outside to shovel this morning with Wild Wes, my arms felt awfully sore for some reason. I was thinking about just not swimming because I thought it would be bad. But sometimes you gotta overcome that shit and ask yourself how good you want to be.

So I got in the water and as expected my first 500 felt horrible and slow and I thought about just getting out of the water cuz it was a dead day. But sometimes you gotta ask yourself how good you want to be. So I continued onward, and for some reason I actually better and stronger as I continued! These were my splits for 4x500 on the 8:00:

6:54
6:50
6:40
6:26

I think I might actually be close to the shape in I was at this point last year. On Feb 3rd last year I did 5x500 on the 8:00 hitting 7:07, 7:00, 6:47, 6:37, and 6:27.

Anyway after my 4 500's I did 10 x (50 easy, 25 fast)
