Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I won’t be in town, but If you can get to the track with the gang I suggest this workout just to keep your legs using different muscles now and then.
Could always do this on the road too.
I think you can figure out the conversions;)



I want you warmed up very well.
Run at least a couple laps ...and get some stretches in.

Then:
run 2 Laps fast but not all out (think 80 to 90% effort bc you still have to jog in between )
After 2 laps
Jog 1 lap easy (no walking)
Run 2 laps fast again.

Take a complete 3 to 4 min. Rest.

Then do that whole set again.!!
2 laps fast
1 lap easy and slow
2 laps fast


Take a complete 3 to 4 min break and finish with 3 laps as follows.
1 lap fast
1 lap easy jog
1 lap fast..

Then you are done!!

So the idea is that you are changing paces within each interval.
This is a good speed and endurance workout if you can be sure not to go so fast that you have to stop in the middle.
Definitely want you jogging easy in between.
