Comments:
Today, I ran 5 miles with Tommy B on Abbott Trail. Yesterday, when I hung out with Tom and Ryan we watched a 90 minute documentary about these 3 guys attempting to climb Meru Peak, which is one of hardest mountains to ice climb. These 3 dudes failed only 100 ft from the summit, due to bad weather conditions and frost bite, on their first attempt. So, they attempted again even though one of the dudes (Renan Ozturk) got seriously injured only 5 months before and fractured his skull. On the second attempt, half way up Renan deadass suffered a minor stroke. But because climbers are way too chill, Renan casually shook off his minor stroke and they made it to the summit of Meru. So, in conclusion, if this dude can climb one of the hardest mountains (that almost no one has finished) and suffer a minor STROKE, then I can push through this marathon next week and at least finish. Probably even do better than finish, but yeah fuck Renan Ozturk.
As for the run, it felt really good and it was good to catch up with Tommy B.
Update: Welcome to the log newcomers. A lot of people have joined recently, so shoutout to everyone.
