Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got my dad to drive me to a road where I could actually run today. Unfortunately, we're right in the middle of mountains, so there are no roads that are fairly flat around here and also I can't find dirt roads that are long enough. The road itself was only 1.5 miles and the entire way up was nonstop hill. As I trudged up, hating everything about this run, I tried to think about how nice the way down would be, but somehow, once I turned, it still felt uphill and not that great. I'm convinced the road was conspiring against me and shifted so I would always be going uphill. I'm trying really hard to remember why I like running, and I'm having some trouble right now. This week is just especially bad because there are no roads, but vacation running is so hard in general. I wish I didn't have 2.5 weeks until camp still.
