Comments:
Felt good for today's workout but my splits were all over the place. I FELT like I was keeping a consistent pace like usual, but I wasn't. However, my gps watch WAS being a little spastic so that could have contributed. But at the end of the end it's all about the effort, and that was 100% there today. This is what I did:
1.45 mile warmup
2 mile tempo (5:20, 5:25)
1 mile easy (6:48)
2 mile tempo (5:22, 5:37 [wtf????])
1 mile easy (6:56)
2 mile tempo (5:34, 5:23)
1.59 mile cooldown
Bizarre 4th and 5th miles. Don't know what happened there. But overall quality workout. Needed to shit the whole time and I was pretty hungry ffs. Gonna be a late swim tonight.
Today's workout brought my average pace on the year to 6:44/mile through 1284.39 miles!
