Comments:
I forget what exactly I did this day but I think it was a light run along Dariva and then maybe into old town. I do remember trying to keep it light on account of the fact that I was already on track to exceed my mileage goal of 70 miles for the week, while at the same time resisting the temptation to run 10 miles and bring the weekly total to 80. Better to go into the marathon feeling confident that I'd taped my training and was sufficiently rested than to have the bragging rights to doing yet another 80-mile week. Besides, my original goal had been to average 80 miles per week over this 4-week period, not for each individual week to exceed 80. Thanks to my initial 111-mile week I'm well on track.
