Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
In Vancouver-- ran from hotel to Stanley Park after a disastrous class registration. For those who've been keeping up with my logs, I ran here 3(?) summers ago and had some fantastic runs. That being said, the way that time works made it so that those runs are glorified and beyond what they could have possibly been like. Anyways, I was set up for disappointment today-- nonetheless had a pretty decent run.
Once in the park, I saw maybe 5 people on the trails. First ran to Beaver Lake, but couldn't actually find the water. After that, I ran all the way uphill to Prospect point, and had a stunning view of the bay and mountains across from the city. Then ran back downhill to Lost Lagoon, which was somewhat easier to find than the Beaver Lake. Oh well. After looping the Lake, I ran back along the waterfront to hotel. Will run along the sea tomorrow. Distance is a rough guess because of trails and GPS.
