I have a confession, I am somewhat a lurker on running-log. I don't usually write logs but I enjoy reading them. Abby told me to write one today, so I will.
Today we started out doing some warm-up laps around the indoor track because it was too hot out. The workout was going to be tempo/pickup laps around the block. I was with Abby, Ella, and Annie. Abby told us that she calls us the "trifecta" in her head, and she felt like the fourth wheel. So today we were the "quadrecta." Hi Abby! For the workout we only got through the warmup lap and the first two-lap tempo before the thunder. We moved inside and did some stairs. We alternated between doing one step at a time and skipping a step. I have no idea how many we did but during the stairs, Anthony pulled us out to do fast runs around the indoor track, the first time one lap and the second time two laps. After we finished the stairs a group of us did two sets of one fast lap around the indoor track. Then we went into the fitness center to do a mystery (we didn't know what we were going to do) workout. I, not thinking ahead, drank quite a lot of water after the two laps so during this mystery workout I felt it quite a bit. Well, we ended up doing some running and high knees in place then some scattered pushups. then we ran around the weight room and did more high knees and butt kicks. I think that's all we did in there, I don't quite remember. After that, we stretched and then, of course, we ran upstairs to get the chorus food. Which if anyone was wondering was spaghetti and some salad. delicious!
