Biked the loop around my house. Started off my warming up fro 5 minutes on the flat trail. After the warmup I did 3 loops plus an extra hill before taking another flat cool down lap. Each loop consists of going up my street (40-50 seconds decently steep) and then going down the other side of the street, turning left, going up the hill parallel to mine (50 seconds but much steeper) and then going left back to the original hill (so each loop has two hills). After doing this 3 times plus an extra hill, so 7 hills, I did the warmup loop again to let my lungs relax as they were really hurting and I could taste blood every time I took a breath. Once they cooled down, I hit the loop 2 times plus an extra hill for a total of 12 hills. The hills would take different amounts of time depending on whether or not I was sitting in the saddle or standing up, and how tired I was. Last two hills were brutal and I almost fell over once I finished. I was completely gassed and my legs felt like led weights after. Brutal workout. Don’t know exactly how long it was cause my phone died, but I would guess somewhere around 30-35 minutes.
