Weather: 66-68 wind SSW 15 mph 58% HUM
Comments:
Weather straight up lied. It was supposed to be around 57 so off the rip I knew it was going to be tough. Had a gatorade on deck prepared for this but didn't really help. Mouth dehydrated by mile 2. Purposley took this one easy because of last weeks LR and the weather. Wind was also SHIT. SSW right in my face every hard mile so that sucked. Stayed true to what I felt, dropped to near 8:00min pace on the hill/winds and went off feel, which was good. HR at 151 is good and zones were better than last week. Overall felt crappy, not as bad as the last 5 of last week but not good. Garmin back to saying optimal training load but being unproductive. We had a good run while it lasted lol. Went with Kinvara the Freedoms were slipping with the new (thicker) socks. Going to need an ice cup & foot soak. Big stretch. Have to sand the bulk head so after that. Should lift / core tonight.
Had 1.5 beers last night. Also have blisters from this run ugh.
