Weather: colder than yesterday
Comments:
Was supposed to run with Kyle Hannon today, but slept in too late, oops. Put off running for quite a while today, but made it out there to do 5x3 minute uptempo intervals with 3 minutes jog rest on the streets around Park Ridge. Wanted to go in the forest to do this but everything kinda iced over since yesterday, which unfortunately included a lot of the streets I ran on today, which made it kinda difficult at times. Tried to run on clean streets as best I could but it was kinda unavoidable, so a couple of the intervals there were random gaps in the middle where I was kinda tiptoeing through the ice so I didn't fall on my ass. It kinda sucked with the ice and doing this alone, but it's better than nothing, and I can definitely feel myself getting in better shape. Also, went about a mile for each 3 min interval+ 3 min recovery, so averaged about 6 minute pace for the whole workout excluding warmup and cooldown. did abs, pushups, and hip circles afterwards. also, probably won't be able to run tomorrow cause i'm going to indiana, but we'll see.
