Weather: 90’s!
Comments:
Ran the trails at the backside of park ... and literally, I ran every trail back there - so many options. Pretty hot out! ... Had a bottle w/ Cytomax which was clutch.
Felt pretty good - obviously had to manage the heat and adjust the pace a bit. Felt like it was a good opportunity to practice some “mental training” to prep for the Backyard Ultra. Just little things: Like always having something positive to look forward to ... which will be so important - during an “unlimited race” why should you keep going? That’ll be the name of the game.
