Alumni Challenge (Remote)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
At Bethany Beach with the famfam for the 32nd time in my life. Ran up the Coastal Highway exploring (read: trespassing) through various exclusive gated communities along the shore. In one community named Heron Cove or something like that I saw a Great Blue Heron! It was perched on a nesting post only a couple feet away from me. I couldn’t even believe it was real at first but then it turned it head to look at me. Also discovered a boardwalk over a marsh. Finished the run with a tempo on the boardwalk. I miss having a real Alumni Challenge but I’m really enjoying reading about every else's runs on running-log and Strava. Hope we can all be together next year!
