Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Warmup up four miles then helped Q through the first mile of his 5k. Goal was 5:30, ended up hitting 5:23 high on my watch. Went out in 76 and then settled in to our low 80s pace but the start was definitely a little faster than I think was desirable. I think if I had done more than a mile I might have been able to keep roughly that pace up. Good to know that I could probably run somewhere between 16:30 and 17:00 right now, which bodes well for warmer weather races with more people in the spring–last year around this time I think I ran something in the 17:30s. Looking forward now to getting in a few 85ish mile weeks out here and seeing where I can build from there afterwards. Good cool down 1 mile by myself then 2 w Nico. Ready to feast.
