Chill morning, kinda sore from yesterday but wanted to definitely take advantage of the nice weather. Looking forward to breaking in my shoes even more. Set out down Discovery to the shore and went all the way down to Macdonald then back up 16th. This is a good loop. Ran on soft surfaces as much as I could, but I can definitely feel the refreshed cushion in my feet now. Pace was so so, legs were kinda heavy but I felt I could manage a steady strong pace. Caught the wind here and there as well. Not that many folks outside to be honest, I think they thought it would rain this morning. Coming back up the hill was good but I got caught a the Dunbar crosswalk again and that broke up my tempo at the end.

Essentials: Stretch

Took a stretch outside as the sun was peaking through. Just too nice out. Thinking about how I have come a long way since last year, I wasn't sure how things would pan out last summer but I think this is good for me. Ill miss my 20s. Still being in this state of limbo means I still feel young, like I have not grown up yet. But its seems the norm for my generation is to not be normal, so I guess its just whatever. Like dey say, peace be da journey.
