Comments:
Tights, short sleeve, jacket (wind). Took yesterday off - don't care really - slept in today so doing this afternoon. Still going 50-55 on the week hopefully. Decided to drop it to 3 mile tempo and see what happens. Felt colder than I thought, always does when it's dark. Also felt way faster on the legs but HR was fine...hands never really got fully warm toes numb until 4/5ish. Thought the tempo effort would bring me to maintaining but unpro - probably because my overall load is so much lower for two weeks...hoping to get to a good spot end of the week. Tempo felt fast but solid first two miles 5:26,5:21. Last mile had some spots into the wind and got tired towards the end 5:19. Not really sure how much faster I could go rn lol 5K split was faster in my race but that's a race effort. Really goes to show how training is and how fit you cant get off a taper. Will prob build back up to 70 by the end of the month?
