Weather: 20 and snowing
Comments:
Not expecting a workout today, but then I got a surprise. Mile Repeats. A bit pissed that we did this outside b/c I wanted to work on the pacing. Headed to MLK and for 4xmile w/ 4 min. rest. First ones the ground was ok, but as the snow was coming down, the sidewalk got covered. This made it slightly slick. It was also really hard to breath today b/c of the cold weather.
Didn't feel that great today. Huge positive splits. I was short of breath the entire time, which made my cardio feel inadequate. My arms were also weighing me down, and it seemed to stem from my shoulders. After 2 repeats, my form collapsed. My head was bobbing, but my shoulders tightening up was much worse. Ben told me my shoulders were way up near my head.
I think that my shoulders giving my form trouble because the are weaker than they should be. I'm going to start doing a few shoulder exercises to remedy this.
