Comments:
Finally broke 17! Went out at a really comfortable pace and still came through the mile at 5:12. Felt good through 3k and split my second mile at 5:17 I think. The third mile I started to fall apart, but I held it together much better than I normally do. Ran a 5:37 third mile. 19 second PR for a final 5k of 16:44.
Did all I could to get ready for the 3k, but I couldn't get my heart rate back to normal. Went out at a 5:07 first mile I think. Started to feed terrible, and I knew the race wasn't going to end with the time I wanted to I stepped out after 9 laps.
Still a good day overall.
