supposed to do (10 mins on, 2 mins off)x3 at 7:30ish pace. modified it for a track workout, doing 5 and 1/2 laps. it was hard, but not for the usual reasons; i couldn't slow myself down!!! first one came through the mile at 6:55! i just felt soo good today. tried to go slower on the second one, to actually do the correct workout, but it was kind of a fail too, although less so, mile split: 7:10. Last one i figured if i started out by telling myself 8 min pace, it would work out better. and it did, mile split: 7:25. yay for actually finding the right pace!
