Tricia's college roommate is in town and is training for a half marathon that is in a couple weeks. She needed someone to go on a training run with her at blackwater and I was the only one who volunteered. At first I was reluctant but since I had gotten in no mileage this week I felt like I needed to. We took it really easy so it wasn't bad. My calves were still really sore and tight at first but they loosened up after the first few miles. Most of the run felt pretty good until the end I started to hit a wall. I'm really glad I did it though. I "iced" my calves in the cold pool water when I got home.
