Running is a strange beast, today I ran 16 miles in about 2:10 and last week I ran 15 in about 2:00, but last week I felt good and like I was moving quick and this week I felt slow and heavy. Yet...we're talking a mere difference of 10 seconds per mile or so between a good day and a bad. I think I'm fitter than I give myself credit for.

Ever run with your eyes closed for a few seconds? I like to do this, find whatever rhythm my body wants and just go with it. That is my zen for the day :P
