Buffalo (half) Marathon

May 30, 2010 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Buffalo Marathon was today. Started with Gjoraas at about 6:30 a mile for maybe 3 miles before splitting off. Was feeling decent. Kept a pretty good pace until mile 11-12. At that point my left (bad) calf started to tighten up a little. I slowed down pretty considerably and then after a while decided that it would be best just to stop instead of risk further injury to the achilles. Overall I was pretty happy. I was on about 3:00 pace for longer than I thought I could hold it. Was a fun experience and got to watch Ryan go into beast mode and run a 2:55.

Calf sore in the following days but I guess that means its getting stronger.
