Coming Back!

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: sunny but not hot

Comments:
It was hard coming back from the weekend. I wanted to run over the weekend, but I forgot my shoes. I also did a lot of stuff I shouldn't have (drink a lot of soda, sit around (sorry)).
During the warm up the front part of my shin started stiffening up again. It was worse than last time. I can tell now that it is the area between my ankle and the muscle to the side of the shin that is sorest, and a little bit of that muscle. It was mostly in my right leg. I was worried about how the workout would go so during our drills and stretches I kinda massaged it. It wasn't so much massaging as it was releasing my anger at it through my thumb. Miraculously it worked. It didn't bother me the rest of the workout. My left leg was a little sore though.
I really like the 50-50 workout. This was the first time I did it and I really liked it. I kinda wished we did it longer than 1200 meters though.
My lungs were more tired than my legs, which is weird for me this season. So far it's been quite the opposite. I was coughing up a storm during Ultimate, which led me to conclude that I had caught a cold (such things can happen when you're camping and on the first day of SEPTEMBER you wake up and it's SNOWING). It'll be hard dealing with that the next couple of days, but we'll see how it goes.
