Super awesome, amazing run

July 5, 2010 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: sunny, no clouds, about 70, cool breeze. i.e. conditions were perfect

Comments:
wasn't sure how this one would work out, after drinking quite a bit last night and then feeling really hungry right before i headed out to run. but, my bowels held up just fine, my stomach didn't give me any troubles, and though my legs got super exhausted, it was a fantastic run.

headed out from mountain cove road, up to the freeway, then sidewinder, all the way up to the motorcycle trail intersection. Forgot my watch today, which aside from preventing me from improving my awesome watch tan, was a really good thing, didn't worry about pace at all, or how far I had probably gone (which is a really good thing in this case because i would have turned around way too soon). I think i'll probably run without it once or twice a week from now on, it felt good.

legs were dead by the time i got out to the top, but i made it running the whole way! almost gave out at first on the way back, but i kept them under me, and i have to say there is nothing to help get your turnover going than coming back down a thousand feet in a little over 3 mi, holy cow, i didn't think my legs would be there to catch me from falling a couple of times. Awesome run, so happy to be in shape enough to do this!
