Ran in the Landreth's today because I didn't want to trash the new Cumulus'. 15 minute warmup and I felt kind of stiff. The workout was 1800, 1600, 1400, 800 with 30 seconds recovery. We jumped right into the workout, running the first quarter in 79. Once we hit halfway through the 1600 I had to start focusing and by the time we hit the 1400 I was really working. It was the first time this year in a workout I had to keep telling myself to relax, maintain and keep going. I finished strong and felt really good about things afterwards. Later on I felt like I should be able to run more relaxed at these paces and was kind of upset with how hard I had to work to run at 5:20-5:30 pace. Hopefully in 6 or 7 weeks I will be able to relax at a much faster pace.

1400: 4:42 (5:22 pace)
800: 2:31 (5:02 pace)
18 minute cooldown on which I felt halfway decent. Caves in the morning.
