mile repeats

I hate doing mile repeats with a huge group; within every 400 the group stretches out and compresses in again like a rubber-band. I guess its good to mimic pack racing / jostling around, but incredibly annoying for splitting even quarters and miles. pretty sure I could have held 5:15-5:20 alone.

Overall just an ok workout: couldn't settle into / focus on goal pace because I was too worried about the time / group and not really internalizing the pace. I guess the good thing was this didn't feel hard at all until chasing Grogan in the last mile. Maybe I can stop racing like a pansy @ Calvin and race with my teammates that I know I should hang with. All I know is 5:25 goal pace = sub 27:00.
