800's WOW it felt good today, the weather was nice. Before practice i was wandering the hallways and i found a piece of hubba bubba gum, i picked it up ....and began to chew it. when practice came i still had it and it was still sweeeet!!! i ran the warm ups and i dont know but maybe the gum helped me regulate my breathing. My legs felt drained though so i shagged to fuller. once there we ran the 800's, i started out slow, then i began to pick up the pace also when we were running the 8's i chewed the gum harder and that helped to keep my mind off the distance. my knees then felt great, my ankle didnt hurt, no side ache it was AWESOME!!! although if anyone knows of anything i can do to get rid of side aches while i run that would be extreemly helpful, i think that if we would have ran the 5k i wouldnt have done so well cuz we dont get to rest, either way i found a warrior stick and that made my day, i feel bumed cuz i want to be at practice tomorrow but have dress rehersal :(. either way i am so proud of all you JV girls you guys are beasts! freakin amaizing, i love to spend time wit you guys, also with all you Varsity gals aswell even if you dont follow rachel's challenge,,,jk lol :)
