Fartlek

Weather: Cool. Perfect weather, a little too sunny

Comments:
Felt a little sluggish but that's probably because some guy was absent some days in Pre-K when they thought kids how to COVER THEIR MOUTH WHEN THEY ARE SPRAYING THEIR NASTINESS ALL OVER. So my throat was sore and my shins hurt more then usual. The pain is also starting to travel right under my knees. I have been icing, heating, stretching, and using ibuprofen why wont these dang shin splints go away. 10 minute warmup felt okay. Started out okay (like yesterday) but felt myself slow down and did not do so well. The fartlek was 20 minutes, with 3 mile pace, 1 mile pace, and mild threshold pace at random intervals. Then did 4 strides that were pretty long, 100 meters at 800 pace at Whorf park (where we also did the workout). I felt like I was going faster then 800 meter pace though. Water break after workout. Cool down was 10 minutes but painful. Then did leg and new hip workout. Note: Distance is estimated
