Comments:
Felt terrible. For some reason had real trouble breathing he first mile (probably because I went out in 5:10). Shoe came untied 800m in and I had to deal with it for the entire race. Thank God it is such a forgiving surface over the entire course. Then the stomach pain hit me with like 2 miles left. I threw up after I crossed the line. I think however, that it is a positive sign for my fitness that I could feel so terrible and still drop a 28:19, only 2 sec off of my PR. I need to refocus and aim to shatter that at Oberlin in 2 weeks. Ankles, surprisingly were a little sore on the warmup but didn't hurt at all during the race or the cooldown.
