Weather: alright, kind of hot in the beginning but started to really cool off during the workout
Comments:
1.5 mile warmup
9 mile workout- 60 min of the 7min tempo, 1 min surge, 2 min rest
came through the 8k at around 32-33 min
i felt ok
not the best going into it
but i was #7 position today
but i took the first couple a little fast. just bc of clint and sam
i dunno i always feel the need to prove myself, which just turns out to be a bad idea.
although i rly bonked on the last one, prob not enough to eat during lunch. it was like in the middle of the last one, went through the mile in like 6:13 or sumthing. it was pretty bad.
25 min cooldown...around 3 miles
but it was rather frightening bc of a motorcycle crash that basically happened in front of our faces. it was one of the scariest things i have ever seen.
