Comments:
Felt a little nauseous in the morning. When warming up my right knee was pretty tight but I loosened up after a while. In the race I felt ok starting out but I lost Riggins and Willy really early in the race. Felt like I could never get my traction on the woodchips and that really bothered me. My legs didn't feel tired on these sections but I felt I couldn't go any faster, which was frustrating. I was having dry heaves the last 400m which prevented me from breaking 28:00. Though I PRed by 7 seconds, I was disappointed with my time and really want to do better at Conferences. If I feel good, I have no doubt in my mind that at my current fitness level can bring me under 27:40
