all-ohio meet today. although it wasnt my best time, this was definitely my best race this season. i think the heat and the course got to me in the second half of the race, but i definitely raced like much less of a pansy than i did at otterbein. started out pretty good, my first two miles were about 5:40 pace, which wasnt exactly comfortable, but it was actually faster than i felt like i was going, and i felt like i couldve keep rolling at that pace. i kinda fell off in the last 3 miles. the hills and the heat started to get to me, but i think i was able to maintain my focus a lot better than i have been in previous meets, and i think this was a positive note to end my cross season on and start preparing for track. it was also a 4 minute course pr, but last year doesn't really count.
