Exercise Type: Run

Weather: cold ass hell when the sun was behind the clouds, really nice when the sun was out

felt pretty good going into this one, very relaxed, but looking forward to it. got a terrible start (between the bad planning of the course and the worse planning of how to actually go about starting the race). moved up to about where i wanted to be by the mile mark, felt really easy even though it was fast. moved up a bit each mile including the first half of the 4th mile, then i really died badly. maybe if i'd gone out 5-10sec slower in the first mile i would have had something left in the last mile? i don't know, but i do know that I can't wait until we get our whole team back out there, because having those guys right with me/ right ahead of me would have helped a lot, and i really want to kick some serious ass after getting our taints handed to us this week.

That being said, i still PRed for the 5k (track or xc) and for 8k, so i guess i can't be that mad.

i don't know my splits for sure but : 5:00, 10:10 (i think), 15:53 5k (according to coachL's split) 26:00 (still can't believe i died hard enough to not get sub-26, oh well, i'll just have to do it in Atlanta, shouldn't be too hard with guys running 23min in the race.
