Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50- Rainy and Windy
Comments:
First off, the wind was crazy and swirly at one point I think we ran an entire lap with it in our faces. Secondly, Erica can't read and convinced me that our pace was group 4's pace(no one printed out the workout). Workout was 2x1.5 miles. I figured I'd run with Russ, since he has a race and is part of the main group of group 5.
We went out at what we thought was goal pace, then he went insane over the last 800 meters. So Russ and I actually ran it faster than group 4's pace. Needless to say, the second interval was pretty rough, especially since he didn't do it due to XC nationals. I'll say this, when I'm 55 I hope I'm half as fast.
2x1.5 miles 2 minute break. Forgot my watch so I'm unsure exactly. 8:45 and 9:10, give or take.
