to mercer, the hill, and back

so i didn't really know what to run today. i wanted 7 miles, but i don't really have any 7mile runs in my repertoire. i decided upon running to mercer, the course where we had our st pius race my first two years, running a lap of the course there, then coming back. that'd be about seven. i didn't map the trail part, but just estimated it to be a mile based on previous knowledge and time.
it felt good. i was comfortable on a somewhat difficult course, although it was 60 degrees out when i got up at 9am, so that definitely helped the comfort. i got back, grabbed a gatorade and my keys and headed over to the gym to work out with ernest. part 2 to follow.
