Osborn Park-
My ankle felt fine for the first four miles, but started hurting right after I ran over a patch of concrete and wouldn't go away. I started debating whether or not I could/should finish the run, but it seemed like my ankle wasn't going to get better and I ought to stop before I did more damage.
Truthfully, it felt better than at the end of my run last night and I am moderately optimistic this will be a 1-3 day injury. I am slightly worried it is a stress fracture, though. My dad thinks it is hurting me becuase I am running weird because of my blister and he might be right. I am considering cross-training tomorrow or maybe trying to run barefoot on a treadmill.
Ideal plan:
-Be able to do easy runs tomorrow and Sunday
-Restructure my mileage next week to eliminate the double
-Start doing workouts on Monday with new shoes and new orthotics coming soon
Worst-Case Scenario:
-Stess fracture -> Start biking!
