i warmed up about ten minutes on the track, then we did the "medium" warmup routine, jogged for another 10ish minutes.
the first six felt pretty good. i lost ckells and grogan earlier than i would've liked, but kinda caught up later on. ran 1:34. the two 200s were solid, both at :27. the 400 was alright, not great--:61. the 300 was better, kicked down grogan on the last straight--:45ish. the 600 was terrrrrrrible. i got boxed at the beginning because i didn't push my way to the start line, but surged to come within reach of chris at 200m, at 300m, i knew it would be bad. at 400m, i was really starting to feel awful. for the last 200m, it felt like my legs weren't even moving, completely filled with lactic acid and heavy as lead. the recovery from the 6 helped, and i ran the first 200 in :28 with my eyes on chris' back the whole time. i felt a blister forming on the sole of my foot in the last 50m. he dropped out. i felt like i had to atone for my awful 600, so i continued. i ran another 200 in :28. since i hit pace, i did another. it felt significantly slower, my legs were getting heavy. i hit :30 and stopped. cooled down about 2 miles.

day2 wk2 lift, static 1, ibis pillar x40, 3x 20 pushups, 10pullups/10 dips, 7/7, 5/5

wanted to take an ice bath, but wanted more to eat. so i'll take one tomorrow after steeple drills.
is there a word with a negative connotation that means "highlight?" because that's what the second 600 of this workout was.
i'm exhausted now. should i be this tired?
