Tempo 1000's for real

Ran tempo 1000's with Grogan today. The heel was feeling okay with the warmup and I didn't feel it at all throughout the workout but on the cool down it felt pretty bad. The workout was 8x1000 with 1 min rest with the 1000 at 3:20 pace. This was a good wokrout. We were prefect for all the intervals. I felt awsome the entire time never pushing that much which is excatly as things should be. I'm running more volume than last year which is want I want but keeping things controled like they were last year which is awsome. Very happy with today.
Splits: 3:19, 3:19, 3:19, 3:20, 3:17, 3:18, 3:18, 3:16
Strech, roll, abs, lift, pullups and dips
Talked to the trainer about my achillies. She said its probably tendonitis and to ice it, cross train, and get it taped. I'm not gonna cross train but I'm gonna try the taping and some other stuff the Obi did when he had the same problem.
