Comments:
during the warm-up my foot felt alright. only a few twinges of pain when i pushed too hard, and even then, only in spikes. the race was great. i felt relaxed, hit a negative split, and i think i could have gone faster. i was a little afraid to take it out too hard after dying last week, so i hung back. this race strategy seemed to work, and i was happy with the result.
however, immediately following the race, i realized that my foot really did not feel good. i talked to coach, scratched the 800, and talked to the trainer. iced my foot, then got an xray later. i've got an apppointment with the doctor tuesday. i'm nervous about what will happen, but i'm not giving up on my season.
