around the world in a balloon

February 4, 2011 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Bike

Comments:
you may be familiar with the book around the world in 180 days. when i had to read that book in 6th grade, for some reason i had convinced myself that it was called "around the world in a balloon" because there was a picture of a balloon on the front.
anyways, i was supposed to simulate the hill workout which everyone else would be running saturday. i knew there was a "hill plus" choice on the bikes in the cardio room, so i chose it. there were a few options, including interval, random, and something else. but the one i chose was called "around the world" the "hills" on the bike took the form of various shapes that were supposed to look like landmarks. i think the arc d'triumphe was in europe, and the pyramids in africa. maybe the world trade center in america. the ones for asia were very nondescript. it was kinda retarded. it felt like a good workout though.
got my heart rate up to 140-150, with 120-130 rpm. at difficulty lvl 10.
static 1. ibis x40, hips x15.
