it's really hard to start my watch when my fingers are frozen

Weather: cold and rainy

Comments:
outdoor track! i got to veale around 4, and the weather felt great. somehow, in the hour between when i got to veale and when we started the workout, the temperature dropped ten degrees or more and started raining. ugh. nevertheless, the workout went really well.
warmed up through little italy to NRV 2mi. drills on the track. here's the workout:
2x 600m (1:39, 1:41) 600m jog btwn
2x 400m (63, 63) 400m jog btwn
5min rest, change to spikes
3x 300m (45, 46, 45) 300 jog btwn
4x 200m (29, 29, 29, 28) 200 jog btwn.

cool down back to veale.
lift with ben-- there's a new lift, and it's apparent that we're tapering lifts going into conference because there were only two things to do. upstairs for static 3. downstairs for a really cold icebath with bobby, grogs, drew, alyssa w, and bettina-- it was packed! back upstairs for ibis x40 and hips x20
glad that i got in an icebath today--today was my first workout back in spikes and my calves were really tight. it's a good day.
