Stop Raining!

Exercise Type: Run

Stuck inside again. Decided to try my first real workout since the marathon. I thought it went very well. No knee or foot problems, but I will continue preventative measures.

4 mile tempo at 6 minute pace felt pretty relaxed and easy. Form was good. For some reason I run well at the gym. HR was 159 right after so that is pretty low for me. Definitely could have maintained for more miles.

Since I think my injuries are managed at this point, I am going to develop a training plan so I'm not just picking random mileage every day like the last months. Not really sure what to train for yet but I will plan to increase and maintain mileage through August. Considering at least a sprint length tri and some random 5ks in the summer. Beginning the search for a fall marathon.
