Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
i didn't really do anything today. but i told corey that i'd run a workout with him, not for any reason, since i'm not training for allegheny like the other guys. it seemed like fun though, and i like going fast, so i thought "what the hell?" it ended up being fun, and worth it.
chris and brooke bailed so that they could go to the twinsburg-solon dual meet, so it was just me corey and jammin. warmed up through little italy to the track and added a lap. didn't find out what the workout was until coach showed up. drills on the track. couple striders.
we're doing a ladder workout. 4,6,8,1k,8,6,4 :75 goal quarter pace w/ 200 rest for short (4,6) intervals, 400 rest for long (8,1k)

was a little fast on the way up, felt really comfortable. started to get tired on the way down, but i also wanted to pick up the pace. i guess pacing doesn't really matter for me, since "pace" is really only something you can associate when training for a specific race. although, corey was trying to hit pace (75) and when i dropped the pace for the last few, i kinda messed him up, sorry. i felt strong though. i've got my meeting/ running assessment with coach tomorrow, and i'm looking forward to it. i'm really psyched about cross this fall and even steeple next spring already. i think if i can stay healthy, then i can have a breakout year. i feel good about this summer and where i am in my training right now.
cooled down to veale, stretched. double abs! once with joe and ben (ibis x40) then with corey, because he asked me to (ibis x30)
