i've never really run at night, but since it's been really hot lately, i decided to try it out. we didn't have dinner until 8ish, and i didn't want to run immediately after eating, so i set out a little after 9. i thought my route was six miles, but it turns out that it was a little short. i would've been surprised if i actually was running 6:30 pace. i definitely slowed down in the middle, because my stomach was still full. all in all, a much better run than my previous few. i felt strong at the end, and picked up the pace a bit, something i haven't been able to do since i got back home. i think the difference is eating well and hydrating. i still felt kinda dizzy after getting back. i'm satisfied with my run though.
